On the other hand, backorder stuffs are making me nausea, especially when they repeatedly arrived in the wrong colour.

I regretted not keeping a piece of Guess corset in light denim for myself.

Such a pretty colour!

Sometimes I feel that the factory is blind somehow. how can they make the corsets in satin when it’s obviously not?

Today, even funnier. My supplier msged me that my stocks had arrived.

I was elated! But when I finally turned up and saw what that appeared in my eyes, my heart sank instantly.

This time they arrived in somewhat a light denim acid washed colour.

HAHA tell me to laugh or cry.

My supplier then immediately called them to redo and said that if the next time it arrived wrongly again, she will personally fly down & check out what had happened. 

Hmmmm…

Now that I’m on my own backorder list, I pray to God that the next time it arrives, the right colour must appear in front of my eyes.

Or else….

These two words kept chanting in my mind today.

I just finished consolidating the orders for lace dress, finally.

No idea why there was a sudden surge on orders last night that caught me busy till today. 

It’s 1.19am now & damned I’m so hungry I haven’t had my dinner yet.

“Quiet people do not make history”

That was what I learnt from the prisoners of alcatraz.

Thanks to the girls in that forum, my mailing list have since grown within a day. Whahaha!

Like what B said, I shouldn’t let all these nonsense & gossips crumple me down. Ultimately those lovely girls who genuinely bought clothes from my shop have their own eyes to see what’s wrong & what’s right.

It’s really funny how silly some girls can get, when they have NEVER EVER bought any items from me before yet jumps into huge conclusion that

“Oh WD has such bad CS etc etc… why can’t they just do an exchange? “

“all their pictures are so misleading…”

“It’s so unenthical of them… no matter what I won’t buy from them next time..”

Why does all these sounds like other blogshop owners trying to create a propaganda to frame others?

To put it off blatantly, I dare say that more than 1/2 of the girls there are simply blogshop owners themselves trying to find means to advertise or put  others down when they have the chance to do it.

Particularly, there was even a girl who took a picture of what she wore to office with the lace dress she got from me and claimed that it’s unfair to her because she was the one who post reviews in that forum and many people might have since feedback ed to me based on her reviews to make the dress smaller.

And the best thing is, she wants an exchange for that dress AFTER she have already wore it to the office earlier.

She is a blogshop owner herself who made her way through the forum I believe and had bought from me a couple of times too.

It had come to my thinking that if I really have such bad CS, I wouldn’t have survived till today. I always make the point to mail out the parcels as soon as possible so that all my customers can receive it the very next day and even try to restock sold out items the next day just so I can mail out the parcels fast.

Honestly, I feel really helpless at times. People don’t remember the good things but always the bad ones. I can’t help if people are influenced by their buying decisions based on reviews can I? Neither can I help if people choose to buy the item based on impulse if they didn’t read the measurements at all and paid almost immediately?

I don’t know if I have regretted making the dresses in 2 sizes for BO. I will be so dishonest if I say no.

Anyway what done cannot be undone and it’s not as though many girls from that forum purchase from my shop anyway.

From now on, I will not bother much about those coffeeshop talks & gossips in that forum & concentrate on providing better apparels & the majority of the girls who bought from me based on referrals through their friends or have known my shop through communities.

Ultimately, people buy from me because they like my items and the choice of my apparels.

I am especially thankful for those girls who had emailed me words of encouragement, telling me it’s not my fault or that I shouldn’t blame myself on this since those girls didn’t even bother checking the measurements before ordering.

It’s really these kind girls that keeps me going & I believe I will grow stronger & better from this experience!

I THINK I HAVE THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD! I LOVE MY JOB!

Yes I do know that my camera sucks but I’m still not ready to buy a SLR camera now neither am I going for studio shoots. Maybe a semi-pro one sounds good!

Last week, dad helped me in ordering 500 envelopes & also a stampchop so that I can save alot of time wrapping the parcels with MAHJONG paper. And I have also thought of printing out all addresses from now on so that I can minimize on mistakes in writing addresses. Sounds good too!

For the last 2 weeks ever since my exams ended, I have been hanging out very often at my suppliers’.

One of my suppliers winnie even exclaimed that ” Cheryl! I have been seeing you here almost everyday!”

Opps HAHA so embarassing!

The reasons why I have been hanging there so much are due to restocking of sold out items, collection of my backorder items PLUS I am in the midst of preparing for my upcoming self-manufactured items I am so EXCITED about it. Not gonna give any clue of what’s coming up, but I hope I can see my sample soon! Can’t wait!

Furthermore, I have been trying to source different style of clothes that are not so common to blogshops. With the recent rise in number of blogshops, remaining competitive is very important and many customers are now looking into exclusivity instead.

I have been researching alot from hollywood styles such as those from celebritystyleguide.com and I wish to find inspirations from their designs.

Particularly, korean fashion is something that interest me of late as most of korea designs place emphasis on exquisitivity & uniqueness that are very much similiar to the styles I’m looking at.

I hope I do not bore you with this post but here’s something interesting coming up at Whoodesiree next…

Spoke to an old friend today.

Really makes me realized how detached I am from the society.

And it sucks to enter uni only a year later than my peers.

They talk about job interviews and convocation and here I am still mugging over shitty exams.

Most of them are either graduating this year or the next.

Maybe I have been mixing too much with people younger of age or the opposite sex, it makes me feel perpetually isolated.

I don’t know.

Just this empty feeling that surged within me.

Though I have not mentioned before, but I must really say that I miss my old times and old friends.

it’s just different from the people you meet daily.

Maybe the things we did and said were more towards thinking of the better future.

Now here I am standing on ground zero….

Well, at least God has been gracious to me!

He left me something important to do now to keep me occupied and of course,

with the accompany of a special someone.

Damn, I hate to be so emo!

Our yearly regime of St Valentine’s Day is my favourite restaurant AMICI at Holland Village.

Thinking back, it is the forth time we’re spending this day together and we decided to do it differently this year.

Nothing exceptionally fancy or romantic, and all the more satisfying, we had Crystal Jade Steamboat!

Though prior to the dinner, we had a little episode of quarrels because the boy didn’t book a place for our dinner. It was only the day before while having dinner together at Astons did we actually discussed about it.

Nevertheless, I was quite satisfied with the humble dinner we had!

This year, I had specifically told B not to buy me any flowers as we both agreed that we would spend the money on buying each other presents instead, which is more wise since every year my flowers would just die after a week and I don’t like the idea of keeping dried flowers.

I settled for the Chanel Classic Necklace after much thought. Love it because it’s classy and elegant and I reckon it would match most of my outfit! Been contemplating between Tiff&Co Bracelet, Chanel earrings and necklace and I settled for the latter. Hope that my choice is right!

Getting B an iphone too! Who says Valentine’s Day is all about the man giving his all to his beloved woman? I think B deserves my everything as well and he ought to be well-treated! Heh!

Now, I’m eagerly waiting for mine to arrive at my doorstep since I had already placed my order on this classic piece with Chanel on Vday!

I am so going to take a good comfort rest tonight to watch the little nonya on youtube. Past few days had been dedicated to juggling between school and my online business. Replying of emails, comments, wrapping of parcels, proposal submission and studying for the quizzes that are coming up, I could hardly sleep well! 70+ over parcels to wrap for my latest collection! All by myself! Good Lord! But I am not complaining. Kind of enjoy doing it actually. Call me self-torturous!

I am so glad that my f21 lace back dress is selling so well! Definitely one of my favourite piece so far In fact, I chanced upon the exact same piece in US Forever 21 outlet mall and I almost got it! Now that I can get it at a fraction of the price, I am so happy!

Anyway, what came out on math quiz today was kind of formidable.
